Part-6: About the name "ANDRONICUS COMNENUS"
Part-6: About the name "ANDRONICUS COMNENUS"
By POLAT KAYA
This is the title of the Byzantium ("Beyistanum") king ANDRONICUS I
COMNENUS (1183-1185) . The following background information is
given about the tragic end of this unfortunate Greek king :
"In 1185 He was chained for days in a pillory and beaten black and
blue; his teeth were broken with hammers and one of his hands was cut
off. He was then tied to the back of a sick camel and peraded through
the streets of Costantinople. Finally, after boling water had been
thrown in his face and an eye had been plucked out, he was strung up
for additional torture in the Hippodrome. Over and over repeated,
"Lord have mercy upon me Why do you strike a broken read? He was at
last put aout of his misery by a sword plunged into his entrails."
The Greek name ANDRONICUS is a composite name consisting of "ANDRO"
and "NICUS" where "ANDRO" is said to be from Greek "ANDREAS" meaning
"man, husband".
In actuality, the word "ANDRO" is nothing but the anagrammatized form
of the Turkish word "DANRO" (TANRU) meaning "God". In ancient Turanian
Sky-God OGUZ religion, God had created "man" in his own image. OGUZ
(O-GÖZ) is the name of Sky-God but is also the name of OGUZ (Tur/Turk)
peoples. Additionally, OGUZ is Turkish "AGUZ" meaning "mouth,
language", "O GÖZ" meaning "it is Eye", "AG UZ" (Ag yüz) meaning
"white face", "AGa UZ" (Aga US) meaning "lord wisdom" which all are
features of "man". Thus there is a metaphoric tie, that is, drawing of
a parallel between "God" and "man". Another example is the name AMUN
(AMEN), the name given to the creator Sky-God in ancient Masar/Misir religion,
which is the Turkish "O-MEN" (MEN-O) meaning "That Man" (God)
referring to Sky-God and also "He is me" and "I am him". Another
example of it is the name ANU, the name given to the creator Sky-God
in ancient Sumer which is also the Turkish "HAN O" which is a title
word for "God" as well as for the mortal kings (man).
Even the name "ANDREAS", when rearranged as "DANRE-AS" is the anagram
of Turkish "TANRI AS" meaning "God is ONE" and "TANRI AZ" (Tanri
essiz) meaning "God is peerless". These Turkish expressions also
appear in the Holy Book of KOR'AN.
Additionally, "ANDREAS", when rearranged as "DANREAS", is the anagram
of Turkish expression "DANRIYIS" ("TANRIYIZ") meaning "we are god"
indicating that "we are in the image of God'. Thus in all of these
cases, the source is Turkish and Turkish culture contrary to denials
The second part of the name ANDRONICUS was "NICUS" which, when
rearranged as "CUNIS" is the anagram of Turkish word "KUNES" (Günes)
meaning "the Sun". Furthermore, when rearranged as "CUSIN", it is the
anagram of Turkish word "KÖZIN" (GÖZIN) meaning "of eye" or "your
eye". The "Greek" construct NIC is simply the reversal of Turkish
"KIN" (KUN) meaning SUN or DAY plus some embellishment.
Thus the name "ANDRONICUS" (from "ANDRO + NICUS"), when decrypted
letter-by-letter as "DANRO-CUSIN", is the distorted Turkish expression
"TANRU GOZUN" (TANRI GÖZIN) meaning "The eye of God". In ancient
Turanian Sky-God Oguz religion, the Sun and Moon were regarded as the
eyes of the Sky-Father-God. Thus by this "Greek" title verifies this
ancient Turkish religious concept. Additionally, the Byzantium King
secretly refers to himself as the "Eye of God", that is, the Sun
and/or the Moon thereby ennobling himself. This is also verified by
his second name in his title.
The second name of the title, that is, the name "COMNENUS", when
decrypted letter-by-letter as "MEN CUNOS", is a restructured and
distorted form of the Turkish expression "MEN GUNES" meaning "I am
sun" or "I am Sun OS (Oguz)".
When the two names are put together as the full title "ANDRONICUS
COMNENUS", they make up the Turkish expression "MEN TANRI GOZUN GUNES"
meaning "I am the God's Eye SUN" or "I am SUN the Eye of GOD" and
alternatively, "I am God's Eye Sun Oguz (O-GÖZ)".
Among the Byzantium ("Beyistanum") kings, considerable number of them
use both of these title names, that is, ANDRONICUS (Tr. "TANRI GOZUN")
and COMNENUS (Tr. "MEN GUNES").
These Turkish expressions embedded in the title are indeed most
exalting title names for any mortal king as well as for a Byzantine
king. But most importantly the title of this ancient Greek King has
preserved ancient Turkish culture and language. With my revelations
in this paper, these names bring back into daylight the true
identities of these so-called Greek title names. It also proves me
right in claiming all along that not only Greek is an artificially
manufactured language but also the Greek names and titles of their
kings were also made up from Turkish. Of course, in a similar manner
all other Indo-European and Semitic languages are also artificially
manufactured from Turkish.
The Turkish words used in the make up of this ancient Greek title are
MEN meaning "I am", TANRI (DANRI) meaning "God", GOZUN meaning "Eye
of", and GUNES meaning "Sun". Turkish expression "MEN TANRI GOZUN
GUNES" meaning "I am the God's Eye SUN" verifies that "Sun" was
regarded as the "eye" of the creator Sky-God.
These words once more verify my revelations about the ancient Turanian
religion and the name OGUZ in that ancient religion of Tur/Turk
peoples. OGUZ was not only the name of the creator Sky-Father-God
which included the names of the Sun-God and the Moon-God as the two
eyes of the creator Sky-Father-God, but it was also the ethnic name of
the TUR/TURK peoples. The TUR/TURK peoples are known as the OGUZ people.
Here it is important to note that, the western writers conveniently
claim and repeat Turks as recent comers to the stage of history during
the first millennium A.D. Nothing can be further from truth. They
also claim Seljuk Turks' coming to Anatolia as Turks' first appearnace
there. Again such claims of denials are far removed from the truth as
the names of these Byzantium names clearly testify. The fact is that
when Seljuk Turks took Anatolia from Byzantium ("Beyistanum"), they
were not really invading a foreign land that belonged to Byzantium
Greeks originally, but rather, they were taking back the ancient
fatherlands of Turks, (i.e., Asia Minor), from Greeks who took this
ancient Turkish land from the native Tur/Turk peoples by deceptive
means. In appearance, Greeks were pretending that they were opening
"commercial outlets" here and there on the ancient Turkish lands when
they were really planning a future takeover at opportune time. Such
was the beginning of all imperialism and colonization. Same trick
still continues at present.
The Greeks not only took the land from the native Tur/Turk peoples,
but also obliterated all symbols of ancient Turanian civilization and
language on the land wherever Turkish was spoken. They destroyed the
ancient Tur/Turk centers of civilization in Asia Minor and the rest of
the Near East (e.g., burned the libraries, burned the cities etc.),
and built their own structures on top of what was destroyed and named
them with a language that was manufactured from Turkish and disguised
in a completely different inflected "language" format. The Greeks,
similarly the Romans and the Semitics, erased most traces of the very
ancient history of the ancient Tur/Turk peoples from their homelands.
This was the doings of new religions whose tenets were all taken from
the Tur/Turk peoples' very ancient Sky-God OGUZ religion, so-called
"paganism". The new religions were intolerant religions so much that
they could not permit life to the followers of the old OGUZ religion
on the very same lands that their ancestors followed for thousands of
years. Hence they were persecuted mercilessly as the opportunity
The Turkish meanings embedded in the title of this Byzantine King,
ANDRONICUS I COMNENUS, is another testimony indicating how the ancient
Greeks abducted Turkish language, culture, civilization and the Oguz
religion. Altering and rearranging Turkish names, words and phrases
have done wonders for those wanderers who did not have their own
language and civilization initially. Destroying the ancient Turkish
civilization and building on it a new one by use of what they learned
from the ancient Tur/Turk peoples has been the principal advancement
game played by some groups.
Another form of obliterating the ancient Tur/Turk name was to
attribute Tur/Turk achievements to any people other than Tur/Turk
peoples. This way they also stripped naked Tur/Turk peoples from their
own culture, thus falsely presenting them as people who made no
contribution to human civilization. For example, writers, instead of
saying Turkish art, they would rather say "Moslem art". Instead of
saying Turkish ruler, they will say Moslem ruler. Instead of saying
"Turks of Soviet Union" they would intentionally say "Moslems of
Soviet Union". Yet the term "Moslem" identifies someone's religion,
not his/her ethnicity or personal name. The term "Moslem" or other
similar names embodies many peoples other than Turks. Thus by such
misleading appellations, Turks' identity and his Turkish culture are
intentionally drowned in a sea of ambiguity, and their civilization is
attributed to other names who may or not have any relation to Tur/Turk
peoples. This is breaking a people by means of misleading language,
that is, with disinformation. This is nothing but intentional
